Dhudmaras, a village in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district has been selected for the Best Tourism Village Upgradation Programme 2024 by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
Dhudmaras Situated in the heart of Kanger Valley National Park, surrounded by dense forests and the Kanger River, making it a prime site for eco-tourism. The selection was based on its cultural and natural richness and potential as a rural tourism destination.
Earlier in 2023, On World Tourism Day two villages from Chhattisgarh’s Bastar, Chitrakote and Dhudmaras have been awarded in the Best Tourism Village by the Ministry of Tourism.
