Paddy procurement in Chhattisgarh continued from 14 November 2024 to 31 January 2025, under which 25 lakh 49 thousand 592 registered farmers of the state have procured a record 149.25 lakh metric tonnes of paddy in this Kharif season under the minimum support price by the state government. This includes coarse paddy 81.98 LMT, thin paddy 10.75 LMT and Sarna paddy 56.52 LMT.
- This purchase of paddy is the biggest record after the formation of the state, last year 144.92 lakh metric tonnes of paddy was purchased.
